Tracy and Simon now live apart with the children being cared for equally by both of them.  Although the last year has been very tough for them all, there is now a steadiness and calm that is suiting everyone.  Tracy has a busy life but is hoping to break into new areas in the coming year, perhaps working or volunteering in the town.  Like many single mums, she is somewhat caught in the benefits trap.

Callum (10) is growing up fast and is doing much better at school.  He is very much ‘the man of the house’ and is kind and thoughtful.  He spends time with his own dad, Wayne, in Southampton when he can and Simon continues to treat him as one of his own children.

Rebecca (6) is charming and very pretty so knows how to get her way!  She is doing OK at school and has good friends.
