Hey All,

2009 has been an eventful year for me.  I was living with my birth father in Maidstone until July, when I came down to Hastings, looking for a fresh start.

After “sofa-surfing” between a couple of people’s houses,  I finally received supported accommodation in the local area. I have now moved into a lovely studio flat with great public transport so I can still see my friends and family. The neighbours have also been wonderful, helping me to settle in and feel at home.

Although I’m not currently working, I am making the most of my free time.  I am receiving guitar lessons, as well as a computer maintenance course. I have also started driving lessons... So watch out if you’re in the surrounding area! I am also using my local gym once a week, and hopefully more once I am more physically fit!

I am looking to go back into studying, in the media journalism field. There are a range of courses available which I am hoping to be accepted for.

I hope 2009 has been a great year for you, and that 2010 is even better still.
